FOREVER IN SURREALVILLE During the Gas Chamber tour of 2012, we made a special detour to Gurdon, Arkansas to visit with the great artist @buzblurr . Thanks to @craig_sheperd 's arranging, buZ had provided art for the "Corpse with Levity" ep. buZ & Emmy showed us incredible hospitality and we visited buZ's studio and installations, such as "Papercide Park" and "Fill the Ford (Fully) Folly", the latter where we dumped our bags of keys inside. Seeing these works in person was very powerful and created a long-lasting impression of the creative act. buZ snapped photos of us in his studio and weeks later these gorgeous pieces arrived. Some 12 years later, it became clear what to do with that document. Thanks to Chelsea @fivepointsframing for framing the print. I created & assembled the wood/metal armature. Thank you buZ.

Nothing left to lose, that feeling when a painting is finally done. That might be the hardest part of creating paintings, when oh when do I declare this is the last stroke on canvas. Well, Birds of a Feather is finished. The best way for me to describe when a painting is finished is instinct (trust my gut) Knowing when I return over and over again to my painting and it just feels good! Birds of a feather you feel warm, meditative, cozy and hopeful. You are done! So now my painting is off to my favorite framer Dennis @fivepointsframing to stretch and soon deliver to my collector.
