April totals done and dusted (and graphic fixed - £3,000 not £2,500)! Apologies it took a few days longer than anticipated.
With one dropout from last month (turned out to be a scammer - don’t do that!) we’re giving to a total of SIX (five people, one organisation) rather than our usual five.

February totals are done and we’ve emailed everyone who will receive £500 each!
This month we decided to ‘max out’ the amount given each month at £2500 and start carrying forward anything over that, so that there are fewer ‘bumper months’ followed by ‘fallow months’ i.e. that the amounts given out are as fair and equal as is possible for everyone.
This means that in months where donations are only, for example, £1000, we should be able to dip into the carry-forward from a previous month and top it up to £2500 so that EVERYONE gets £500.
The hope is that we can make the £2500 number a realistic target soon and keep increasing it - so that people receive more and more forever, as they deserve! That depends on us continuing to get the word out about FiveforFive, and people continuing to donate and kindly throw wonderful events that raise a shit ton of money for trans women.

FiveforFive is a grassroots fund supporting trans women and transfeminine people across the UK, providing direct financial support to individuals and backing trans-led, community care initiatives. Their work gets money straight to those who need it most.

A timely imbolc x end of the month emptying of the FiveforFive pot: with our new account open (you might say reborn) we’re able to give out again to ten people and organisations, including those we weren’t able to donate to from December. Eight individuals and two groups will receive £576 each in the coming days!
