Here we go…..this short was filmed in 6hrs last Sunday and was inspired by the game Ready or Not.
It is only a credit to skill and professionalism of everyone involved that we were able to get such a beautiful pice shot and edited so quickly and effortlessly. Having @christos.dante and @victorleonstunt operating camera and helping light it all so stunningly made my job a million times easier and having the immensely talented @devillestunts@maxkrausofficial@tom_paredes and @cameron.cooke23 performing made every shot work and editing the film more difficult as there was so much useable footage 🤣
And of course having the ridiculously overqualified @exsiliumltd there to military advise where necessary just raises the standard of what we can capture on film.
Massive thank you to my behind the scenes team @c.plamenov_stills for taking epic photos and @giovanabraia@connell.lisa@ailissmithh@_katefreer for helping with everything from atmos to lighting, to supplying us with much needed monsters, we honestly could not have done it without you guys so thank you again for all of your time, energy and hard work.

Original idea/concept fantasy hero sequence.
Created in Unreal Engine 5 and edited/graded in Davinci Resolve.
For a while I had this idea of a hero fight versus multiple orcs/goblins.
I wanted to try and see how well motion capture could translate intricate sword work.
We planned to use two mocap suits but on the day we ended up with one as the other one was malfunctioning…oh well...let’s just say I had to work some magic in post to sync all our performances.
