FITS prezintă afișul ediției 33 și anunță o importantă expoziție Ștefan Câlția!
Pregătirile pentru Festivalul Internațional de Teatru de la Sibiu au intrat în linie dreaptă. Ediția din acest an este organizată sub tema SUFLET și are loc între 19 și 28 iunie.
Lucrarea aleasă pentru afișul ediției cu numărul 33 este „Acrobatul” de Ștefan Câlția, o pictură în ulei pe pânză realizată în 2018.
Motivul aceste asocieri este expoziția Ștefan Câlția pe care publicul o va putea admira anul acesta în cadrul Festivalului. Expoziția este organizată de Fundația Ștefan Câlția, Galeria Posibilă și Asociația Galeria Artep, în colaborare cu Festivalul Internațional de Teatru Sibiu (FITS), Muzeul Național Brukenthal și Asociația Brukenthal von Studio.
„Pregătim de mai bine de un an această ediție a Festivalului. Am pus SUFLET, poate mai mult ca niciodată și am creat o ediție de SUFLET. Vom oferi publicului FITS o mare expoziție Ștefan Câlția, pe care o primim cu bucurie. Lângă ea vom aduce sute de alte evenimente indoor și outdoor, cu cele mai mari nume ale lumii. Vrem să arătăm prin această ediție că mai presus de tehnologie stă SUFLETUL, fie că e vorba de cel al artistului sau al privitorului.” a declarat Constantin Chiriac, Președintele FITS și Directorul General TNRS.
Expoziția Ștefan Câlția organizată în acest an la Sibiu este una dintre cele mai importante ale artistului, este curatoriată de Liviana Dan și reunește zeci de lucrări din arhiva Fundației Ștefan Câlția și din colecții private.
Expoziția are loc în fosta clădire a Mânăstirii Ursulinelor, clădire care va beneficia de intervenția Ambulanței pentru Monumente pentru refacerea acoperișului, într-un demers care aduce împreună patrimoniul artistic și cel construit.
Spațiul expozițional este unul impresionant, de aproape 1000 de mp, iar publicul este așteptat în perioada 19 iunie – 16 august 2026.
