Today is my Syncversary! Six years as a Strong Nation instructor, which I began at the age of 66. It was absolutely one of the best things I have done in my life. The high quality education and training, the improvement in my own physical well-being, and the personal belonging in the Sync members community have been truly amazing and special. I have been lifted to places I couldn't have imagined. To my dear colleagues in the Sync network, and to the Strong Techs who have helped me in more than 125 Sync Labs (who are also colleagues 😀), I cannot express my gratefulness enough. You all are simply the best. 👊💪❣️
The #strongnation Push-up Challenge is over, and ironically my main takeaway is to slow down! (However, I did love the challenge and the community spirit!) 👊👊
The push-up is best thought of as a full body exercise. It involves not just arms and shoulders, but also chest, back, core, glutes, and legs. So now I take a couple of seconds to go both down and up focusing on form and technique. The way my pelvis tilt, core, and glutes are engaging, how straight I am, my scapular protraction at the top, and more. This is the kind of push-up practice which I think will gain me the most strength and benefit.

I enjoy challenging myself with max versions, while in class, I mostly lead low and base versions. This kind of sequence is fun — athletic jumps combined with a controlled mobility move. From the new Quadrant 2. 👊💪
