For the second year, FIT students partnered with peers from H-FARM College (@hfarmcollege ) in Italy through a program led by FIT’s DTech Lab (@fit_dtechlab ), where they explored the intersection of fashion, culture, and AI. From Venice to New York, they came together to reimagine the fashion value chain, bridging tradition and innovation.

Congratulations to Harnoor Sekhon (Global Fashion Management), winner of the DTech Lab’s 2025 PETE Prize for Entrepreneurs! Sekhon, the first graduate student to receive the award, was recognized for her brand SNJA: a line of easy-to-wear, performance -enhancing turbans rooted in cultural pride and convenience. @fit_dtechlab
Inspired by her Sikh heritage and family, Sekhon’s design offers a respectful, ready-to-wear alternative to traditional turban-tying, making the practice more accessible for modern lifestyles.
