We go to our correspondent on the ground to see how @bigjermdg approached round 1 of the MVP Open at Maple Hill.

I'm unbelievably proud of and excited for the 2026 @gt_tribe squad for making College Nationals. Didn't even need a second bid to roll through the Southeast. The experience of playing on a college ultimate team kept me sane and focused for five years. Realizing what I knew and didn't, and being pushed to fill in the gaps. Finding incremental ways to be tougher for eight months of "offseason". Learning how to impose myself on the game AND leave space for teammates to do the same. The shared struggle and eventual satisfaction of giving my (our) best, win or lose, led to finding and keeping many of my best friends. Hope this, and every other @gt_tribe team, knows that same community support. And so, today's photo is a broken disc. It's never been thrown. It probably can't fly. It's going to continue hanging on the wall, because this one matters. National (spirit) Champs.

Victim-shaming, commence! These seven poor souls had to play against me in the Virginia Team Invitational. Win, lose, or tie, it’s an abomination that they were necessarily on a level playing field with someone looking like this. You should all be embarrassed, and reconsider your life choices. Members of polite society would not associate with anyone choosing to go out in public with this facial hair. Bozos. Buffoons. Chumps.
