I dreamt of dazai the other day, he’s burning sparklers by the seaside. I couldn’t translate this well into a drawing (as of now haha) and as I really wanted to draw him I ended up with this instead (the last slide is the sketch in question). I was imagining dazai saying his goodbye for the last time as pm member to oda before going into hiding and joining the detective agency. Finally got around to finish and release this! Lol long time no see 🥺🥺🥺 This is OC Koh. He actually has a twin sister but in this AU they fused 🙂‍↔️ I haven't drawn that much this year so far. I really didn't feel like doing so. Currently I got some energy back to draw and I'm glad. I spent a lot of time outside this year instead :) I initially struggled with drawing this last year because I'm somewhat perfectionist with lineart. In the end you don't even see much of said lineart haha I think I need to learn to chill about the entire process. Also I put it off because I was scared to color and shade the butterflies. They look cool but I did not think about how to work with them. I think in the end I found a good and quite easy solution to make them pop :) coloring didn't take me as long as sketching and lining did 🤣 oh surprise...
