Spotted on our Soho route last FW: And, Yet by @themingzhangsun at @thesmallestgalleryinsoho .
A suspended installation inspired by the quiet memory of a vanished village, exploring the tension between softness and structure, tradition and the present. Mingzhang Sun’s multidisciplinary series sits beautifully in the intimacy of Soho’s smallest gallery space.
If you missed it on our last walk, you’ve still got time — the exhibition is open until July 2026 at 62 Dean Street.
Go wander, pause, and look up.
Our next FW is 06.03.26

FIRST WEDNESDAYS IN SOHO — MAY 6
6–8PM | Free | Walk-around culture hit
Tucked inside Soho, discover And, Yet — a multidisciplinary series by @themingzhangsun at The Smallest Gallery in Soho.
Running April – July 2026, this intimate presentation draws from the quiet memory of a vanished village, exploring the space where tradition collides with the present.
Through suspended and centrally anchored forms, Sun creates work that feels both delicate and structural — asking what happens when softness meets solidity, and emotion presses against the frameworks that shape us.
There’s a tension running through the exhibition: balance and instability, memory and modernity, nostalgia and reinvention.
A contemplative stop for those who like art that sits with you a little longer.
