Hey, welcome to @firstpresnpb đ Weâre so happy that youâre here, because we arenât made to do life alone.
At FPC, we believe that God wired us for connection. Thatâs why we care deeply about creating spaces for relationships to grow, centered around the grace of Jesus no matter your faith journey or stage of life. We see ourselves as a web of relationships â sharing life alongside one another and learning to love our community one connection at a time.
Follow along to see more of the thriving and vibrant life that we have the privilege of facilitating here within our local community in North Palm Beach!

On May 1st, our incredible First Pres Preschool Mom Prom Committee hosted a totally rad 80s-themed Mom Prom celebrating our amazing preschool moms, teachers, and staff! đđ
From the âRad Dadsâ greeting guests at the door to dancing, raffles, photo ops, beauty and bloom bars, and nonstop 80s fun, the night was all about celebrating the amazing community that makes First Pres Preschool so special. đđśđ¸
But Mom Prom was about more than just a fun night out â it was all in support of our preschool playground improvement project! âď¸đ
And now⌠we are ONLY $2,000 away from reaching our HUGE $50,000 goal for a brand-new playground sunshade and exciting playground upgrades for our preschool students and teachers! đ
Help us cross the finish line by donating just $10 in honor of a preschool mom, teacher, student, or family you love. Every gift makes a difference and helps create a safer, more joyful outdoor space for our kiddos to enjoy every day. đ

Exciting news at First Presbyterian Church!
Over the past several months, FPCâs Pastoral Nominating Committee and Session have been prayerfully tasked with filling two important pastoral leadership roles within our church. We are excited to share that God has faithfully led the search process, and we are thrilled to announce the two pastors who have been selected to serve at FPC.
Meet your new Executive Pastor: John Carey! John brings decades of leadership experience through his service in the US Marine Corps, federal civil service, and most recently as Inspector General of Palm Beach County. John and his wife Lea have been active members of FPC for many years, and many in our church family already know him through his faithful volunteer leadership and ministry involvement. John completed the ordination process at FPC and was ordained as a pastor here in September 2025.
Meet your new Community Life Pastor: Josh Bartz! Josh has served for the past five years as Campus Pastor at The Kingâs Academy and brings extensive experience in discipleship, mentoring, and community development. Josh is also a familiar face at FPC through his years serving in preaching, teaching, seminary apprenticeship, and volunteer leadership. He was ordained as a pastor at FPC in 2022.
Join us for a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, May 17, at 12:15pm in the Fellowship Hall following morning worship services. All are invited, and members are strongly encouraged to attend. Youâll hear more from church leadership, meet John and Josh, and spend time praying for them as they prepare to join our staff team.
We look forward to seeing you there!
This Sunday, May 3rd, we will celebrate the retirement of our beloved Rev. Dr. Ron Hilliard and his wife, Catherine. Ron and Catherine have mentored and shared the love of Christ with our community for 50 years!
We will have worship services at 9:30am and 11:00am. There will be no 8:15am service. There will also be no Sunday School for adults, children, and students at 9:30am. (Agape class will still be meeting at 11am). The nursery will be available for preschoolers and younger during both services.
This Easter Weekend, we had the joy of celebrating 10 new communicants, a baptism, and over 1,500 people in the pews. So many faces and stories coming together to worship and celebrate the hope we have in Jesus.
As we move beyond Easter, things may feel quieter, but everything has changed. The resurrection is not just something we celebrate, it is something we live in. Jesus is still risen, still working, still calling us forward, and that same power is at work in our everyday lives.
Join us this coming Sunday as we continue to live in the hope we received on Easter đ
We couldnât have asked for a better morning with our community! đ
Our annual Easter Eggstravaganza is one of our favorite events of the year, bringing together friends, neighbors, and church members to pull off a beautiful family fun day. Eggs were hunted, BBQ was eaten, faces were painted, and goats were well fed!
As the morning festivities come to an end, we now prepare for our candlelight vigil service. Join us at 5 PM this evening (Saturday) as we shift our focus in preparation for Easter morning and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. đŻď¸

Last night, members and friends of our church gathered on our campus and at homes across our community to reflect on Maundy Thursday and the meaning the Last Supper as Jesus journeyed to the cross.
Thank you to all who joined us and of course, to those who hosted, prepared, prayed. We are so grateful!
So, see you there? Weâll save you a seat!
Join us for our Good Friday morning service, with breakfast to follow. Come spend time in worship, praise, and scripture as we reflect with gratitude on the sacrifice made on the cross.
Service will begin at 8:00am. Send to a friend to let them know you would love worship with them on Friday morning!
What is Maundy Thursday? In the Christian community, itâs how we honor Jesusâ journey to the cross in reflection of the Last Supper.
Whether youâre observing Holy Week for the first time, just looking to get plugged in with members of our community, or in need of dinner, prayer, and fellowship, thereâs a seat at the table for you.
