Mai @home FIRST LAP CRASH (CH 2026) Leben mit ME/CFS: Amina Ist gerade mal 21 Jahre alt, muss aber ein Leben führen, das ihr bei jeder kleinen Anstrengung – und seien es nur laute Geräusche oder helles Licht – einen Knüppel zwischen die Beine wirft. Die Ärzte sprechen, lavierend, von Malaise. Eine wirksame Therapie gibt es nicht, ihr Suche nach Linderung der Symptome erweist sich als Spießrutenlauf zwischen gut gemeinten Ratschlägen und wirren Empfehlungen. Da greift der Bruder, Film-Student, zur Kamera und macht einen Film, nicht nur über sie, sondern auch für sie. Mit wundersamen, zarten Bildern, kurzen Berichten von „da draußen“ und poetischen Stimmungen baut er einen Raum, in dem sie sich einfinden kann. Ein Film wie ein Geschenk.
