Where our coffees end up part 1.
We pour all the love into the coffees we make, then wave them goodbye, never really knowing where they end up.
So we thought we would find out.
Cute.
Ok, it’s game time.
Since we only had an AI version of AL for our “who let these kids run a roastery and cafe” post, we finally had some surface thanks to mum Borrie.
So who is AI and who is AL?
Tell us your guess.

Honduras Cosma Decaf
Newish.
Decaf can often get the side eye, but we love a good decaf here at firsthand.
It's nice to get the flavour party but without the jitters if you've reached your limit.

Who let these kids run a roastery and cafe!?
Disclaimer.
The bosses photo may have had to be AI generated due to lack of baby photos on hand. Next time we will just go straight to his mum.
A sad day for us at Firsthand. Ants is saying goodbye to us and moving into a new role at Brave Brewing.
In his 5 years of being with us he has grown so much, made friends for life .(aye?..)
and has brought out the silly in us, making us laugh everyday.
Our staff and customers will miss you very much, but lucky for everyone you won’t be far away, and hope you'll do a few guest appearances from time to time.
Go forth and shed your outgrown Firsthand shell our wee crustacean, and grow a new one.
We wish you all the best Ants and have no doubt you will smash it.
Catch him on Friday for his last shift at Cupple and Saturday at Workroom for his last official day, if you want to come and cry about it over a flat white. #coffeeworkshops #hawkesbaycoffeeroasters #hawkesbaycoffee #firsthandcoffeepeople
