Here are 3 MUST-KNOW tips to have a confident ENTRANCE for your First Dance👇
(Because how you feel stepping onto the dance floor will set the tone for your entire dance)
1. Eye Contact! Whatever you do, don’t look down.
👀 Watch your boo as you walk out and go for a little carousel turn around the floor to elongate your entrance + eat up a little time in your song.
2. Go SLOW 🐢
There is no rush to get out there. Remember, heels and a dress will slow you down anyway!
3. Don’t stand still with your feet “stuck in the mud” -(This one’s for the leader)
Make sure you move around as you turn your bride.

1. Learn your basic turn. This is a turn that takes no more than 30-45 minutes for complete beginners to learn. There doesn’t have to be any fancy foot work or technique. Your basic turn is meant to be easy and add a little extra sparkle ✨ between swaying.
2. A “photo step” 📷 like Hammerlock or sweetheart. This move usually gets some “ooohs and aahs” 😯 from your guests and is a perfect photo opportunity!
