Same show. Different version of me.
One night, two looks. The first was all black, stripped down, quiet. This one was the opposite.
An oversized crochet sweater in red, green, yellow, and black. Splatter-print pants with chain details. Every color fighting for attention at once.
There’s a version of yourself you keep tucked away. The one that’s too much, too loud, too colorful for the room you think you’re supposed to be in. Wearing this on a runway felt like letting that version out on purpose. Not to prove anything. Just to see what happens when you stop apologizing for taking up space.
Vulnerability isn’t always soft. Sometimes it’s bright. Sometimes, it’s walking into a room wearing every color you’ve been told doesn’t match and letting people decide for themselves.
The Divinity Fashion Show reminded me that connection starts with being willing to be seen fully, not just the curated parts.
To rise to dare and dare to rise.
