I finally made it to burn club and got the gumption to dance in front of total strangers and many of my teachers/ idols. šš„ŗ The nerves were real, and spinning fire with other people whoās props were on fire was a whole new level of special awareness I hadnāt had to navigate before.
Iāve felt so incredibly drained, emotionally, physically and creatively lately. I left burn club absolutely lit up (Pun intended). Seeing the people I admire, getting to dance, and feeling that hug of a creative community was exactly what I needed right now. Art will always be my first love, but dance and movement is my happy place, and the biggest blessing of 2021 for me has been being able to dive deeper into this flow community instead of being a shy little cheerleader.
Itās time for this little fire bug to burn brighter. ā¤ļøš„
