đŸ”„ New Book Release đŸ”„ Some fires don’t start on the fireground—they start in conversations, silence, and unchecked behaviors that shape workplace culture. "Dealing with Difficult People" is a must‑read leadership guide for today’s fire service. Written by Fire Chief and former Army combat medic Jerry Streich, this book tackles the real human challenges leaders face—from toxic attitudes and gossip to disengaged employees and high‑risk behaviors. Lead with clarity, confidence, and control—before small issues become major incidents. đŸ“˜đŸ”„ Check it out here: https://ow.ly/tlFm50YV7i9

There is nothing that makes me more proud than watching strangers who become your friends who evolve into your family; and then watching them succeed and surpass your level. Your goal should never be to see others “just make it”. It should be to watch others thrive, to truly live a life you only get very little time to live and make an impact. My goal is to always see my peers do well, and do BETTER than me. Why? Because if someone didn’t believe in myself, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I built my table from the ground up beginning at rock bottom. This table evolved into @thesaltyrookie & now you have a chair waiting for you to be pulled up to join the table. Every single person that crosses my path for good and or for a lesson to be taught; ALL have a seat at this table. Why? Because I never want any one to feel left out or excluded like I had been my whole life. What I’ve built meant putting a target on my back. However, it also meant leaving the place better than I found it and becoming the change I wanted to see because I was not okay with “being mediocre”. It meant being the voice so others would never ever have to feel left alone because they’ve been shut out for so long. I put my whole story out there, and became extremely vulnerable so hopefully it’ll be the reason why someone sees value in staying alive rather than taking their life. If my story can impact one person, then my work here is doing exactly what I intended for it to do. So someone finally feels they have a voice they can use rather than being told to “just get over it or just deal with it”. I became the role model that I never had when I was a kid. You have the ability to re write your story. You have the ability to make a difference. You have the ability to change lives and inspire. You have the ability to do ANYTHING you put your mind to. Stay true to yourself. Have the tough conversations. Take the opportunity that scares you the most, it’s the one thing that may change your life. Even if it takes years of failures to figure it out. “If you can’t lead one, you can’t lead any. If you can lead one, you can lead many” - @frank_viscuso

Eleven Months. The vision came before the provision. This is the importance of manifesting dreams into reality. I thought I was delusional, I kept having visions, dreams, and feelings that I couldn’t run from. FDIC 2026 validated that. God is good.

The most successful people in life are never the ones who loudly express it. It’s the ones who never forgot where they came from no matter how far they’ve grown into what they’ve built from the ground up; no amount of followers ever will change the human behind the screen. It’s the ones who don’t think they deserve the success or goodness that comes their way. It’s the ones who face imposter syndrome, questioning if they even should be standing in the position they’re in today. Building a platform, influencer, whichever you’d like to call it; isn’t easy. It’s endless days and nights or doubts, pushback, criticism, and “will it ever stop”. It’s putting the target on your back willingly, so others can finally resonate, have someone to rely on, and truly become inspired by because they were finally seen after being shut out for so long. From questioning if it’s really even worth it. Highs and lows, setbacks and elevations. It’s Putting others first and never yourself because you never want to feel the way someone you once looked up to made you feel when they let fame or numbers get to their head. It’s never wanting to let others down, trying to fulfill everyone’s requests, and questions. At the end of the day, it’s staying true to yourself and remembering who was there for you when you had nothing, and recognizing those who would do anything to help you in a heart beat even if it meant sacrifice. Jason from @firedeptcoffee & @thesaltyparamedic will always have a special place in my heart, not because of the “platform”. Because of the way they made me feel as if they were just another human out here doing it on this planet, taking the five minutes out of their busy lives to listen, to interact, to make me feel seen, understood, and finally realize I made it. Never did I think either of these two would be holding my work through @fireengineeringbooks @fdicindy 2026 changed that forever. No matter where you are, what you build, or who you become; never forget where you came from or why you started to begin. “If you can lead one, you can lead many, if you can’t lead one you won’t have the ability to lead any” - @frank_viscuso God is Good.
