It’s the morning ritual of making my cup of tea that gives me mental space the most comforting start. There’a also something so comforting about knowing exactly what’s in your cup. ginger, turmeric, galangal, moringa… real ingredients i could blend on my own. Organic too 😉
Where does tea actually come from?
Every real tea, green, black, white, oolong, comes from one plant in a handful of regions. Japan, China, India, Taiwan, Sri Lanka. That’s most of the tea world right there.
Herbal teas are different ingredients like chamomile, peppermint and hibiscus plants grow across dozens of countries, more variety, more flexibility, and sourcing.
Rooibos is the exception it’s it only grows in one small region in South Africa, one valley, nowhere else in the world. Not technically tea, but arguably the most geologically rare ingredient in your cup.
We source only the best ingredients from around the world.

Most chai built on black tea. We built ours on green.
Same spices. Cinnamon, Cardamom, Ginger, Clove, Star Anise, all real, all sourced individually. But the green tea base makes it lighter less heavy cleaner on the finish if you love classic chai this one’s worth trying.

Matcha is different from loose leaf tea because instead of steeping the leaf in water, you consume the whole thing.
Matcha are simply green tea leaves that are milled into a fine powder and the benefits are off the charts.

Most people pick tea by flavor. Here’s how to pick it by what you need.
Green tea: High in catechins, particularly EGCG. These antioxidants protect cells from damage and support metabolism. One of the most studied plants on the planet.
Chamomile and lavender: Chamomile contains apigenin, which binds to receptors in the brain to reduce anxiety and promote sleep. Lavender works the same way. A natural wind-down.
Ginger and turmeric: Both are powerful anti-inflammatories. Ginger settles the stomach and improves digestion. Turmeric contains curcumin, which has been studied extensively for reducing inflammation throughout the body.
Matcha: Caffeine and L-theanine work together here. The caffeine lifts your energy. The L-theanine keeps you calm. The result is steady, focused energy with no spike and no crash afterward.
Black tea: Fully oxidised and higher in caffeine than most teas. Long-term studies link regular black tea consumption to lower blood pressure, improved cholesterol, and better heart health overall.
The right tea depends on what you actually need. Save this for next time someone asks.

Most Earl Grey uses Bergamont flavouring, a synthetic version of the real thing. Ours has real Bergamont peel from Italy. Lemon Myrtle from Australia. Lemon thyme from Portugal. Three real citrus plants each sourced from where they grow best.
This is what Earl Grey can be when nothing is faked.

This is your guide to making a perfect cup of tea. Save this.
A lot of people tell me they don’t like green tea because it’s too bitter. It shouldn’t be.
Two things control how your tea tastes:
1. Water temperature
2. How long you steep
Get one wrong and you have something weak or bitter. Get both right and it’s a completely different drink.
Follow the guide, try it once properly, see what happens!

The Benefits of Tea 🍵
Chamomile – Sleep 🌼
Chamomile contains apigenin, a natural compound that binds to receptors in your brain to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. One cup before bed and your body knows it's time to rest.
Ginger & Turmeric – Digestion 🫚
This combo is a gut's best friend. Ginger speeds up gastric emptying and reduces bloating, while turmeric's active compound curcumin fights gut inflammation. Drink it after a heavy meal and feel the difference.
Hibiscus & Rooibos – Blood Pressure ❤️
Hibiscus has been clinically studied for its ability to lower systolic blood pressure naturally. Paired with rooibos, naturally caffeine-free and packed with antioxidants, this blend supports cardiovascular health without any stimulants.
Black Tea – Heart Health 🖤
Black tea is rich in flavonoids that support healthy cholesterol levels and improve blood vessel function. Regular consumption has been linked to reduced risk of heart disease. Plus the caffeine kick doesn't hurt.
Green Tea – Antioxidants 🍃
Green tea contains EGCG, one of the most powerful antioxidants found in nature. It helps neutralize free radicals, supports metabolism, and protects cells from damage. The simplest daily habit with some of the longest studied benefits in wellness.
