One of my go to techniques is using telephoto lenses for portraits. That compression pulls the background right into the shot, making architecture and atmosphere feel part of the couple’s story, not just a backdrop.
These were shot on the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art, paired with a Sony A7RIII and the Sigma 35mm 1.2 a combo I’ve trusted for years. Crisp detail, buttery depth, and a cinematic feel that never misses.
It was rainy. It was cold. But that meant empty streets, glowing pavement, and real connection in every frame.
