Watch the trailer for our first short film ‘Sandbox’! 🙌🏼🪶 Dive into the story of two childhood friends catching up but one of them has some other hidden agenda in mind for this reunion. Inspired by real-life experiences, ‘Sandbox’ explores themes of loyalty, brotherhood, temptation, and integrity.
Originally a film production assignment, it led to something much bigger. 📚📈 Through this journey, our team grew closer, creating a project we’re incredibly proud of. 🫱🏼🫲🏽 In which created lasting friendships and a collaborative spirit that paved the way for our business ventures together.

We’re delighted to share a special moment from the beginning of Heavy Feather Productions. 🪶 Our first project, ‘Sandbox,’ was born from a film production course at UMD, where our paths first crossed. 🐢📚 This short film, a true labor of love, tells the story of two childhood friends catching up but one of them has some other hidden agenda in mind for this reunion. 🫢🎬
Creating ‘Sandbox’ was an incredible experience that solidified our passion for filmmaking. 🎥‼️ With a dedicated cast and crew of just four, we wrote, shot, and edited the entire film in just a few days. Our fun on this project made us realize we had to keep collaborating!
