Very excited to share the completion of my newest painting 🩵 This piece is a reimagining of a journal entry of mine from last year (last slide) and was a really lovely exploration of self, as well as a catalyst for deepening my relationship with acrylic paint. I’ve been working on this one for the past few months and looking at it in its entirety now feels like a window into my soul :’’)

Beholddddd the finished product of the “Anchoring Light” course I took recently with @izzy_ivy_art 💜 This was a really fun journey and I’m very grateful for Izzy’s guidance throughout each stage 🧡 I learned how to make things glow, that symmetry is really quite hard (but fun) & that I love working with fluid paints (: I also learned how to get out of my own way & push through the feeling of being scared to mess up something that looks good in the early stages. 🩵
Also! Shout out to my new friends at @spirit_printing_services for helping me get my first ever prints made 🥹🙏🏼 And for being such encouraging, kind & supportive humans to work with. I’m super excited to take this next step and roll out some prints of both this piece and “Blossoms of Becoming” in the near future 🩷

Gearing up for an epic weekend in the desert with @karnivalofthearts in a few weeks! I’m so excited to be slangin some paints alongside so many friends ❤️🎡🎠🎪🤹🏼♀️ I’ll have a few prints & original works for sale & am gonna be working on a new project that’s been taking shape recently 🦋🎧 Really looking forward to connecting with more artists and sharing inspiration in such a vibrant environment. puff the magic dragon
dwells beside me •
coiled in quiet constellations
only Eye can see.
she breathes in colored fractals,
exhales a sacred sine •
a guide of this existence,
her spirit rests with mine.
she slithers when i’m doubting,
lays her wings in light ~
building trust out of shadow,
keeping harm out of sight
puff the magic dragon
she will never disappear ~
for she shifts into protection
whenever I am near

Co-creating with @cappokelleymusic & his crew of amazing musicians last night was an absolute dream 🧡 The energy of the environment & the music led me into some breakthrough moments with painting, I had no idea if I was going to add more color or stick with magenta & green & I really felt like the canvas & colors were telling me what to do. Thank you so much to everyone who came up to say hi, I can’t wait to do this so many more times 🩷

Bringing my paintings out into natural lighting when they’re finished is one of my favorite things ever. The colors become so vibrant & beautiful. The sun rays in this spot were hitting so perfectly 🥹 Life really imitates art
