I will continue to be the voice amplifying the complex struggles many families in the UK are facing. We hear daily on the news about low income families sinking deeper into poverty.
The UK Governments new guidance aimed at making school uniforms more “affordable”, would mean families will save money from next year. According to 2015 research which found parents saved almost £50.
This is just one aspect of what low income families are faced with. Many are going to have to choose between Heating or Eating.
This is an absolute disgrace which requires Urgent intervention and immediate solutions
“Not Next Year” But Now!!!!

BBC News had me on the news again this week discussing the cost of living and the significant work my company is doing, @youngmumssupportnetwork are committed to ensuring that we provide the best support and access to relevant services to help those most in need.
Our Mums and Money program was a great success we work with over 150 mums in under six months.
The need for financial support has enhanced for so many and become apparent that our services are required.
The more we grow as a company I as the founder am going to ensure that we develop the resources for the business to be able to flourish and build on the great work.

It’s been a less visible online type of year , more present in motherhood, healing, and leadership.
2025 was a year of becoming, resilient, rooted, and real.
It was a year of growth in quiet moments, lessons learned through challenges, and strength discovered in the spaces between.

Excited for what’s ahead as I’m stepping into a new chapter in business with fresh opportunities, more to share soon.

Sabbatical update!
Life in the USA has been quite the adventure for me as a female boss. While the idea of permanently positioning myself here is still open for discussion, the flexibility of conducting business from anywhere provides me with options.
Currently taking what I consider a needed sabbatical to figure out my next steps whilst cherishing quality family time with my two children, sister, niece and other family members who live out here.
Together, we’ve explored nearly seven states so far.
Work meetings are scheduled for next week.
