A work-in-progress solo show by Fiona Scott (aka Sparrows Kneecaps)
A performer tries on different ways of playing Shakespeare’s Fools in search of a breakthrough. Trouble is they start answering back.
“When your mother is Dogberry and your father is Lear’s Fool… what hope was there?”
Somewhere between a shed, a memory, and a performance, things begin to shift.
Inspired by deep dives into Shakespeares and other fools with the brilliant Nick Bagnall

Great afternoon rehearsing @jennyberrywriter brilliant new play Bloody Women set in a womens prison. Hormones, womens health and comedy sessions create the perfect volatile mix for it all to kick off! Importantly voices and issues that should be heard definately are!
Tickets for 9th April @the_lowry sold out but hopefully more will follow for this fantastic project!
So brilliant to explore work with fantastic group of actors and creatives, including fellow @sd._.talent actor @maya__lana !

We’re excited to introduce Fiona Scott (@fionascottactor ), who will be appearing as Liv, an eccentric scientist who has travelled back in time to stop herself from selling her invention.
Fiona previously stepped into the world of time travel as Joy’s Mum in the Doctor Who Christmas special ‘Joy to the World’, alongside Nicola Coughlan — so she’s no stranger to stories that bend time and reality.
An experienced actor, theatre-maker and writer, she is also an alumna of the Liverpool Everyman Playhouse’s playwrights programme. She will next appear at The Lowry as Paula in a new comedy-drama Bloody Women. Later this year, she’ll be touring the North West — including Unity Theatre and Shakespeare North Playhouse — with her own flamenco comedy-drama Flamenco or Bust, described by Paul Hunter (Told by an Idiot) as “warm, funny, tender and full of passion.”

What a lovely little christmas stroll down @wayfarersarcade . It is fast becoming the home of beautifully curated quirk. Even spied an orginal photo of Max Wall in The Little Museum of Buffoonery. Next to Galleries, independent shops, cafes and an exhibition of historical costumes.
If you're feeling the need for quirk, I recommend a visit!:)
