Weighing in at over 80,000 kg, the 990-11 required a crane to safely position it on blocks for the build. Once fully assembled and tested, it will make its way by barge to Texada Island, where the final preparations will be completed.
From there, it’s straight to work in the quarry moving serious volumes of aggregate and getting the job done.
