Behold, the pizza box throne! Nothing like cutting into/glueing/destroying 85% of the hero boxes on the first shot of a 2 day shoot!
But well worth it. Thanks again to all who helped make this happen.
Took a while to get around to posting, but this job was an absolute blast! Last fall @adamvoorhes and I collaborated with @primarycolorss in directing a commercial for @7eleven 's new Big Bite Pizza. Huge thanks to @neighborhood.watch and producer @tarynnagle for bringing us together and everyone at @360i for being down with our somewhat unconventional approach.
I'm totally going to miss everyone who needs to be thanked for making this happen, so I apologize now. All the talent was amazing! The client and agency were an absolute pleasure to work with. And massive thanks as always to our crew who always go above and beyond to make these productions happen.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you:

Adam wanted to make a wine and potato chip image. I was putting it off because I didn’t know what the set should look like. Had some downtime, cleaned out some shelves. Found this fabric, pulled some cardboard tubes from the recycle bin and inspiration hit.
This image was number 2. It started as a second wine and chips picture but that felt done. There were some pork-rinds left over from craft services and bourbon on the bar. Adam made a lovely Manhattan and voila!
Somehow we convinced @gatton_michelle to road trip from Iowa to Texas to make pictures for @eatingwell with us. I will forever be in awe of both her straw collection and her amazing talent.
This is part of the ongoing Leftovers project @adamvoorhes has posted about, and probably my favorite so far.
This was not the set I’d intended to style. There was a whole bunch of scrap contact paper in different stone patterns I wanted to put together. But then the molding cherries were found and the set kind of styled itself.
Our allergies paid the price of working with the mold, but still feels worth it.
