@carson_leung ) 聽，佢竟然錄咗一首勁好聽的 cover，感人肺腑不得止仲令我諗到首歌嘅 MV 概念，掙扎咗勁耐之後終於拍到出嚟
〈不如再快點 (One Bit Faster)〉
其實編曲喺想探索「不如再快點」呢個概念：用一首中途加速的情歌嚟比喻曖昧嘅情侶想加快速度嘅真摯渴望，喺首歌第二段同最後一段有愈發激情的 footwork beat
而MV個槪念係幻想好似錄影帶咁用「快播」嚟加速戀情，仲用咗真嘅 DV 嚟捕捉懷舊質感。我最感動係可以紀錄到我成長嘅地方荃灣嘅風景（閒日都勁多人咩事）
〈One Song Away〉
因為〈不如再快點〉係講時間，所以就想寫一首首關於距離嘅歌，比起〈不如再快點〉 相對敘事，呢首更實驗性同更 dancefloor-ready

Carson重新編曲同埋錄過首歌之後個電子編曲勁有電影感不在話下，最重要係首歌令我用另一個更單純同真摯嘅角度去認識自己嘅創作，提醒咗我創作嘅本質就係交換大家睇到嘅世界

The lead track, ‘One Bit Faster (不如再快點)’, is an off-kilter footwork-twee-pop hybrid where Cantonese vocals and 160 BPM rhythms capture the aching impatience of a near-couple. This sincere impulsivity is visualised in its accompanying lo-fi music video, shot entirely on vintage cameras. It reimagines romantic yearning as the literal act of fast-forwarding through Hong Kong’s electric cityscape, blending a hazy, nostalgic aesthetic with the song’s high-speed kinetic energy.
Complementing the narrative is ‘One Song Away’, a dancefloor-ready footwork track built on sublime, trance-like keys and hypnotic vocals. While the first track fixates on time, ‘One Song Away’ focuses on collapsing distance through melody. Its layered percussion builds into a dazzling, euphoric rush, offering a relentless momentum that demands movement.
The release is rounded out by Hong Kong musician Carson Leung’s rework of ‘One Bit Faster’: A cinematic, slow-burn reimagination that offers a restful twee-pop comedown.
FINGERGAP continues to craft raw, emotional footwork infused with Cantopop
tenderness, which are narrative-driven, sentimental, and unmistakably Hong Kong.
