First cook in the @finexcookware 10" carbon steel pan was a success! Follow along in my stories today, or on my YouTube shorts, to see how simple this is to do.
I just got this new @finexcookware 10" carbon steel pan. It is hands down my new favorite piece of cookware. It's absolutely gorgeous! It looks rustic yet modern at the same time. There are beautiful details all over; from the hammered finish on the handle with a classy, understated gold logo inlay, out to the edges of the pan that rise up from a circular cooking surface to form the signature Finex octagon shape. Amazing craftsmanship!
This is just the unboxing video here, but in the coming days I'll show you how to season this, and then I'll fire up a steak on it, of course.
If you're not familiar with carbon steel, it's basically like cooking with a cast iron pan that you can use like a regular pan. You can easily pick it up and move it around while you cook on the stove top, and you won't burn your hands when you grab the handle while doing so. It's also safe to use in the oven like a cast iron pan.

🧽Wash & Scrape
Wash: Use warm water while the pan is still hand-hot.
Scrape: Use the Oak Wood Scraper for stubborn bits or the Chain Mail Scrubber for a deeper clean without stripping the seasoning.
♨️Dry Thoroughly
Wipe: Dry with a cloth immediately.
Heat: Place on a low burner for a few minutes to ensure every drop of moisture evaporates, never air dry!
🍳Oil & Season
Apply: Add 1–2 drops of Organic Flaxseed Oil to the surface.
Buff: Wipe with a paper towel until the iron looks dry and matte, then heat until it lightly smokes to seal the finish.
➡️Enjoy!
