They were right, dreams do come true. It’s now been 20 years since I first opened the doors to Colt’s Timeless Tattoos. If you are reading this, you are most likely part of that journey in one way or another. Whether we worked together or you had a tattoo or piercing done, or maybe you just liked a post of ours. In some kind of capacity we went through this together. For however long, our worlds connected and I want to thank you for our shared experience.
It takes an incredible amount of support to stay in business for that long and I couldn’t have done this without all of you.
I’m incredibly proud of my crews, past and present. You built Timeless into a business we should all be proud of. You gave the clients amazing experiences and they love you for it.

Still working on this project but I wanted to share. I personally think drawing on the skin adds so much more to a tattoo. A look I can’t seem to find when I use a stencil. Does anyone else find that to be true?

In between our GREAT meandering conversations about art, my friend and mentor extraordinaire Colt @fineartfirst continued working on my tattoo last week during our @empireinks trip to visit @jacobsheffieldart in Colorado. So pleased to have Colt creating my first tattoo. Even though he’s explained it multiple times and I’ve witnessed the implementation on his clients and on myself, his design process is so authentic and unique that I’m only just starting to understand the intricacies. I wish I could communicate it better. Colt walks a different path. In the very simplest terms, it’s a process of discovery. Which resonates with me. His approach is high effort Art with a capital A. I’m getting something special and we both know it. It’s not just a tattoo (and a gorgeous one at that), it’s a wholly unique experience. Perfect.👌

My extraordinary tattoo apprenticeship continues. My mentor @fineartfirst of @empireinks brought me to Grand Junction, Colorado for a week to learn from tattoo wizard and amazing artist @jacobsheffieldart . It was so helpful to watch him work. I’m inspired by his artistry, technique, pace, consistency, snd work ethic. I learned a ton. We had a blast hanging with @jacobsheffieldart (and his awesome clients) and @brandonfulller and also got some time in with @lunettatattoo and @jacobjamestattoo
