A year of regionally grown flowers is about to begin… (okay, alllmost a full year!)
The 2026 Stemz Season opens Valentine’s Week (Feb 11), followed by continuous weekly pickups + deliveries ALL the way through Nov 20 across Charlotte, Raleigh–Durham, Piedmont Triad, Asheville, an Charleston SC.
That kind of February-to-November continuity is rare for regionally grown flowers (🌱Swipe for a glimpse into the transition month to month🍂)…
Alongside our farmers, Stemz is building the infrastructure so your business can meaningfully incorporate sustainably sourced florals across events + holidays for nearly the full year. That means consistent support for flower farmers (small businesses like you, right here in the region) + access to the South’s most incredible specialty flowers…in late winter, peak spring, summer, and fall 🍁
Big 2026 improvement: We’ve expanded + simplified service routes. In 2026, all routes can order for the full season duration (Feb–Nov, start to close) with Asheville as the only exception.
Asheville Note: You’re so close to full-season service this year. For 2026, we’re doing a special Feb 11 delivery, followed by a full seasonal launch starting April 1 through the end of the season, an expansion from last year thanks to your support!

And now to our community of Floral Designers, receiving their orders and beginning to create for a full weekend of weddings and Mother’s Day celebrations!

“Favorite Flower to grow right now is the sweet and wild Bachelor Button. It’s a simple flower, but I love its blue/green foliage and wildly free look. It also reminds me of when I started growing flowers on our farm as it was one of the very first!”
What are you most excited about on the Farm this year?
“I am most excited about nailing down more efficiencies on our farm across all of our enterprises this year. Produce, Flowers, and Poultry. We have a long ways to go, but having more established systems in place will hopefully make this very hard farm life run a little bit smoother.”

But because demand has been so high, we’ve worked quickly behind the scenes to bring in additional product from some seriously high-quality growers in good volume– including a limited selection of premium Peonies in designer colors to the PAO catalog.
Baptisia and various Foliages are still available for pre-order as well!
Be sure to jump on soon! Pre-orders close tomorrow, Monday April 27th (4pm or until advance supply sells out) for Mother’s Day week receiving, May 6-8th.

After preorders close on Monday, our Live Field Inventory opens on Tuesday… a real-time, ever-changing online market with field updates throughout the week from farmers. This market includes items available after all pre-orders (PAOs) have been fulfilled.
Tip: Check LFI often, as inventory will constantly update throughout Monday, May 4th (4pm). We even recommend shopping later in the week for the most robust selection. This gives farmers ample time to really access what they have additionally available on such a BIG week of pre-orders.

I save all my own seed and even have a few varieties I have bred on my own farm. In 2025, I began selling sweet pea seeds specifically to southeastern farmers and gardeners who struggle with traditional varieties bred for cooler climates.”
