It all boils down to geography 🌍
All Canadians can apply to FEDERAL grants, so long as they meet their other eligibility criteria 🔍
The PROVINCIAL and MUNICIPAL grants are where things differ slightly 🔒
You must be located within a specific province or town/city to qualify for those, among their other eligibility criteria 🔌
Despite that, most music creators have a few options as to where to apply for music grants 🤔
Worst case you always have the big guys like @factorcanada and @canada.council - but best case you have those 2, and several more options to explore based on the province and town/city you’re in 🤑
Like our resident @5piece who’s located in Toronto - he has at least 4 options he can explore (and he does!) 🇨🇦
If you need more money to invest into growing your music career, music grants are the answer 🙌🏼

If you’re a music creator in Canada, you have an opportunity that many worldwide don’t have...🤔
...the ability to win free money for your music career through music grants ✅
I don’t know if it’s because it sounds too good to be true, or if people are just lazy, or a combination of the two- but we know first hand how real music grants can be 🤯

You see us talking about grants all the time but you probably are wondering: how much money can I actually get from a grant? 💵⠀
⠀
Here’s the answer: anywhere from $2,000 on the lower end to $100,000 on the higher end PER PROJECT.😎⠀
⠀
If you’re a smart and efficient artist, you can do MULTIPLE projects in a year and therefore tap into grants and get funded multiple times. 😮⠀
⠀
If you’re an artist that’s just starting off with minimal music releases, your best bet is to apply to the FACTOR Artist Development program pictured above which can give you upwards of $2,000.💸⠀
⠀
If you’re a more established artist with a track record, you can apply for as much as $100,000 through grants like Canada Council for the Arts Concept to Realization program. As long as you can justify what you’re asking for, it could happen.💰⠀
⠀
This is a very small sampling of grants available to you. There are many in the $4,000-$70,000 range as well.🇨🇦⠀
⠀
If you take our online course, you can learn how to apply to Canadian music grants like these step by step and secure free money for your music career. Hit the link in our bio for more information.🔋⠀

⠀
If you follow it correctly, you’ll submit your own grant application for at least $2,000 at the end. 💵⠀
⠀
AND you can repeat this process for years to come, just like we have to secure grant funding.💸⠀
⠀
Just a few weeks ago we won a $10,000 grant for one of our artists, and have submitted almost $100,000 in requests this year😎⠀
⠀
Registration is open for 14 days and closes May 1st. We’re only accepting 50 students and will be personally working with them to help secure a music grant. 📍⠀
