But at some point, I realized I missed the feeling of being more connected to the car. 🤷🏽♂️😅 If it ain’t broke…
A lot of people ask me how my shots are so smooth. Obviously a big part of it is just years of practice learning how to walk, move, and operate with a gimbal. But honestly, I’ve gotta give a lot of credit to this thing too.
I’ve been using the Ronin M since I first started filming, and even after trying newer setups, I still keep coming back to it. There’s just something about the weight, movement, and overall feel that still looks more cinematic to me than a lot of the newer gimbals coming out today.
Yeah, it’s heavy. Yeah, it’s outdated. But somehow this 11 year old setup still delivers every single time.
At this point I’ll probably keep using it until the thing completely dies 😂
