✨ This Labor Day weekend we’re celebrating by welcoming two brilliant new artists to the Decoda Core — violinist Doori Na and composer/performer George Meyer! George and Doori have already been integral to Decoda initiatives like Music for Transformation and our Winter Retreat for Amateur Musicians at Potash Hill, and we’re THRILLED they are joining us as Core members!
Doori Na has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to the Berlin Philharmonie, and is known for his fearless versatility — from premiering countless new works with @argentomusic and @newchamberballet to touring with Chick Corea and Brad Mehldau.
George Meyer is a violinist, violist, and composer whose musical interests bridge classical and fiddle traditions. Commissioned by festivals like @bravovail and @chambermusicnw to name a few, he also performs as a member of the @toomaiquintet and his new duo project @upstream_nyc .
We’re so excited for the music and ideas Doori and George will bring into our Decoda family. Help us make them feel welcome! 💙
