This was me 20 years ago when I turned 7. Back when I could just be a kid, playing, dressing up, losing baby teeth and getting more visits from the tooth fairy, no growing body parts or messy things, oh how I miss those times. And this girl who was turning 7, had no idea what was in store for her, she had no idea she’d be taking more trips to the movies, learning new things in grade 2 and around Christmas time, she would get an early gift, she would be entertained by her soon to be favourite person in the world for the very first time, and fall in love with him, and she didn’t know he would make a huge impact in her life for many years to come! (I think you know who I’m talking about)!
And tomorrow at 20 years to this time I’ll be 27. For my last post at the age of 26, it was a fine year for me, I don’t know what 27 will be like but I hope things will be great for me this year!
Even in winter, you might find these cute little creatures, I just do hope they stay warm! I can hardly wait for the snow to melt and we can finally have nice weather, taking walks without worrying about ice and snowbanks, and more!
On family day I took a day trip to London (Ontario of course) and got to attend a 35th anniversary screening of the Disney classic, Beauty And The Beast! After a couple of failed previous attempts to see it, I finally did it! The journey was tiring but it was worth it! And it was so nice to see some little girls in princess dresses, it’s nice to see that children today enjoy it as much as we do! It goes to show that true classics remain timeless!
This post is one month and one week overdue, but here it is. Happy late birthday to my favourite wiggle and one of my first crushes, Greg Page! What can I say that I haven’t said since from the posts I’ve done for your birthday for the past 10 years? You are funny, great at singing, you know how to put a smile on peoples faces and are just an amazing person in general! You brought joy to me since I could walk, I enjoyed seeing you do magic, and I had fun singing and laughing along with you! I can’t believe soon I’ll be half your age! I also am still very grateful you’re still alive, thanks for teaching all of us the importance of learning cpr and first aid skills! I hope you had a great day! Thanks for everything!
When I was hanging with my best friend before the end of winter break, she showed me this beautiful Christmas tree around the area we went for dinner. I hope to see it again when it’s Christmas time later.
It’s late but here’s my first post of 2026. 2025 was an interesting year. I’ve gone to the beach a lot that summer, I started volunteering at a pet store where I get to play with some adorable kitties, and I have explored other parts of Ontario, and one of my best friends introduced me to the self care app finch, I love taking care of my Jazzy. There were some rough patches, and some days were better than others. So 2025 was a fine year. Here’s for a great year in 2026!
One of my last posts of the year! My buddies and I are chilling watching School Of Rock (it was 13 years ago on that night that 13 year old me saw this movie for the first time and it became one of my favourites of all time!)
My late Christmas wish from my buddies and me to everyone!! I hope you had a safe, warm and happy Christmas, if it wasn’t a good one know that you are loved.
I’ve added a new Christmas tradition which is to visit the cat cafe in Stratford to bring the cats gifts and play with them! Here are some of the residents and fosters I got to see
Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of seeing a live orchestra screening of Toy Story in honour of the 30th anniversary! It was so fun, it was great to see some of the kids in their costumes or holding their own toys and dolls! Plus, I don’t want to brag but I think the kiddies loved my costume when they saw me! And just seeing the movie with the orchestra playing, hearing laughter, and all of us applauding at certain moments like Woody’s first appearance, when they scared Sid, Buzz and Woody flying (iconic moment for sure!) and when they reunited with Andy, heck I remember hearing a little girl get excited when she heard Hakuna Matata briefly playing. The whole experience was awesome. And I may or may not have chosen a great time to see it as it was on November 22nd the day it came out back in 1995,
I’m so thankful I got to see this. My buddies and especially my Buzz and Woody bendable dolls did too, I think Slink had a great time too, they loved briefly greeting the kids.
Plus shoutout to my teammate from the trivia we did at the beginning of the month @ty.lavoie ! It was so nice to run into you, granted it was after the show but it still was nice to see you again! Team Delicious Hot Schmoes!!
