🍝 Comment PASTA and I’ll send you my full Northern Italy & Switzerland itinerary and travel guide for free 🚞 It covers everything from the best places to visit, things to do, accomm for all budgets, my favourite restaurants (there are so many 🤤) and how to get around using trains, no rental car required. Northern Italy is one of my faaavourite places in the world, so many incredible and unique destinations to discover in such a relatively small area, from the Dolomites mountains to the Venetian canals to historical Florence and foodie hot spots 🇮🇹 I find myself Googling “how to move to Italy” at least once a week 🙃 it’s just magical. 📅 You’ll need 3-4 weeks to follow this itinerary as I’ve recommended it at a fast pace, but if you’re short on time or prefer slower travel then just pick and choose the spots that fit your travel preferences and DIY an Italy itinerary that suits you. The stay length I’ve recommended is just that, a recommendation, based on my experience in each place *and* taking into account the impact of tourism. Yes, you could see the highlights of Venice in a day but I loooved my four days there in November because I could explore in the evenings when it was much quieter, and the city is actively discouraging day trippers so that’s why I’ve suggested a longer stay. But do whatever suits your priorities, your budget and your timeframe 🥰 #italyitinerary #travelitaly #visititaly #italytravel #northernitaly #italytraveltips #northernitaly🇮🇹

The ULTIMATE South Island road trip itinerary 🗺️ Save this for your NZ planning! Also the location pins are just to tell you the photo spots, not the only places I recommend going haha. 💌 I’ve just written a HUGE South Island travel guide with literally everything you need to know to plan the perfect trip here! Comment GUIDE & I'll send it to ya (for free!) 🥰 ⛴️ The itinerary starts in Marlborough because I always catch the @bluebridgeferry over from the North Island, but it’s a loop so you could start wherever you land if you’re flying in ✈️ (gifted on my last trip but I sail with them every time!) 📍 Marlborough Sounds 📍 Blenheim 📍 Kaikōura 📍 Hurunui District (so underated! Waipara Valley for food/wine, Hanmer Springs for spa time + outdoor adventures) 📍 Christchurch 📍 Tekapo 📍 Aoraki Mount Cook 📍 Waitaki District (also underrated, some amaaaazing glamping spots ✨) 📍 Dunedin & the Catlins 📍 Stewart Island 📍 Milford Sound (/Fiordland in general) 📍 Queenstown 📍 Wānaka 📍 Glacier Country 📍 Hokitika 📍 Punakaiki + Paparoa National Park 📍 Maruia Hot Springs 📍 Abel Tasman National Park 📍 Nelson 🗓️ HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE? Realistically you’d want ONE MONTH to do the full loop & that would be at a quick pace (1-2 nights most places!). With less time I’d really recommend sticking to half of the island (scroll back to find my 2 week @topofthesouthnz itinerary 🗺️) or choosing 3-5 key spots to focus on and doing some day trips from those. 🍂 WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO GO? Okay this is my hot take 👀 It might be tempting to come here for summer, buttttt after 10+ South Island road trips in the past six years (in all seasons) I promise you the rest of the year is better. Shorter days + cooler temps yes, but also fewer cars on the road, fewer people, lower prices, and maybe most importantly not as many sandflies 🙃 TRUST ME ON THIS! 👋🏼 Kia ora (hello!), I’m Alexx, a full-time solo female traveller sharing all my adventures and misadventures 🌏 Follow for ultra-detailed itineraries and loads of epic experiences + unique stays around the globe @findingalexx #newzealandtravel #nzroadtrip #southislandnz #southislandroadtrip #nztravel #nzmustdo

🇮🇹 Comment PASTA and I’ll send you my full Puglia itinerary (it’s free!) with info on all the best places to go and things to do in Puglia, links to the exact rooms I booked, and loads of photos to show you what you have to look forward to 🍝 and you can do the whole trip by train and bus, no rental car required. P.S. You’ll need to have your settings to ‘allow message requests’ in order to receive the link if you don’t follow me 🥰 This is the itinerary I WISH I followed, but (classic me) I left all my Puglia travel planning too late and ended up having to double back on myself three times to be able to afford the accommodation I wanted 😂 sooo this is a “do as I say, not as I do” situation! #puglia #pugliaitaly #pugliaitinerary #pugliagram #travelitaly #italyitinerary

Controversial opinion but Milky Way season >>> lupin season 👀 agree or disagree? 🩵 Comment BLUE and I’ll DM you my full Lake Tekapo/Takapō travel guide with the best things to do, food recs, where to stay + ways to save $$$ (because this place can be expeeeensive). And here are some quick Tekapo tips for winter: 🌘 Align your trip with the new moon, too much moon will totally wash out the sky and make it harder to see and capture the stars in all their glory. Book a stargazing tour with @chameleonstargazing for the best value astro experience! 🌌 The Milky Way’s galactic core (the band of the brightest densely packed stars) stretches right overhead Tekapo in the middle of winter, but after 11pm will give you the best view of it with fewer people around to ruin your long exposure shots 🌨️ The weather can change SO FAST, it’s not uncommon to have blue skies and no sign of snow apart from on the mountains like photo 7, then two hours later it looks like photo 6 🙃 be prepared for any eventuality. 💰 Winter accommodation is MUCH cheaper than summer, like 40-80% cheaper 🚐 If you’re in a van or on a budget, @lakesedgetekapo is right next to the lake with stunning views, brilliant facilities, options from campsites to backpacker dorms to cabins. I’ve stayed three times, highly recommend! 🍝 The food scene in Tekapo isn’t that impressive, best to book accomm with a kitchen and then cook your own food 🛒 The Four Square (a small grocery store chain) is literally the best Four Square in the country though, they have Fairlie Pies aka the best pies in NZ, and I do LOVE @thebetterbatter_nz fish and chips food truck ⛺️ There’s some amaaazing glamping/unique accomm just outside of Tekapo too, like @skyscapenz (photos 5 & 9) and @highcountrycabin (photo 11) about 45 minutes away in Twizel 📸 My favourite photo spots for the lake are along Lilybank Road (photos 7 & 13) and up Mt John (photo 10) 📌 Save this for when you’re planning a Tekapo or wider South Island winter trip! 💃🏼 And follow @findingalexx for more NZ travel guides & tips 🗺️ #tekapo #laketekapo #southislandnz #nztravel #purenewzealand

Paid a Vedic astrologer in India to read my birth chart and basically got told the men I’m compatible with are critically endangered 💀 “Your type of person not much on this planet anymore” is actually oddly validating though 😂 He also said I can increase my chances of finding love by doing charity on Wednesdays and donating green things, that for the next two years my boss will be trying to give me additional responsibilities at work which I should say no to (awkward because I am my own boss), and that at age 62 my life will become calm hahahahelp another 28 years of this chaos 🫠 Have you ever been told anything hilarious by a spiritual guru or alike on your travels? 📍 Udaipur, India P.S. I’ll be writing a mega guide to solo female travel in India after this trip, comment SOLO to have it sent straight to your inbox once it’s live 💃🏼 #indiatravel #solofemaletravel #solofemaletraveller #travelinyour30s #30somethings

Postcards from Jordan 📸 One of the most eye-opening, thought-provoking and cup-filling adventures of all my travels 🫶🏼 and an important (and timely) reminder that there’s so much more to this part of the world than the headlines. This trip taught me A LOT, I was in Jordan for the @gadventures World Community Tourism Summit and it was a beautiful whirlwind of bucket list spots, deep & meaningful chats with insanely talented creators and super inspiring presentations about how tourism can be a force for good. Some heavy moments in there considering the current state of the world, this region especially, but being surrounded by so many pioneers of responsible travel was a 2025 highlight for sure. This was late Sept so I’m horrendously delayed 🙃 but to be totally honest this trip made such an impact on me that it kind of rattled my whole strategy around “digestible / aesthetic travel content”, which is tricky when that’s literally your job 😂 it’s taken me some tiiiiime to process that mindset shift, still a work in progress but excited to figure out what that means for me in 2026. Always endlessly grateful for trips like this ❤️ Big thanks to @melissafindley for capturing 📸 8 and sorry to my dad who will be so disappointed that I sat on the bonnet of a Land Cruiser haha Quick summary of my Jordan details for ya: 💜 I was here with @gadventures (hosted) for their annual GX Summit, the tour we did was a rapid edition of their usual trips but we visited Amman, Jerash, Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea 🌇 After the tour I had an extra week solo in Amman and I parked up at a brilliant brand new apartment called Sahill Stays, I found it on booking.com ✈️ I had an early flight out so before I left I spent a night at Airport Villa just a 5 min drive from the terminal, it’s simple but comfortable and the family who run it are SO lovely, highly recommend for solo gals who need a close-to-the-airport stay 💃🏼 I’ve got a full solo female travel in Jordan guide with literally everything you need to know before you go, comment GIRLSRUNTHEWORLD and I’ll send it straight to your DMs 💌 #visitjordan #visitpetra #gadventures #solofemaletravel #responsibletourism
