Even though I’ve always been team sunset, this sunrise was one for the books.
4:15 a.m. — half-asleep, I crawled out of bed, drawn into the stillness of the desert’s dark embrace.
No light, no sound, just the quiet hum of the earth waiting.
Step by step, guided only by shadows and hope, until I climbed into the basket, and we rose — slowly, gently — lifting above the sleeping land.
The horizon cracked open, spilling soft gold and pink across endless sands.
And as the sun kissed the world awake beneath me, floating in silence high above it all, I knew:
some mornings are worth chasing ☀️

Seit 12. März hat die @pensionleuchtenburg wieder geöffnet - Gastgeberin Kat kümmert sich hier am malerischen Kalterer See in Südtirol um ihre Gäste wie ihre Familie.
Die Gemäuer des ehemaligen Versorgungsspeichers der Burgruine sind über 500 Jahre alt, wurden liebevoll renoviert und beherbergen heuten eine kleine Pension mit 12 Zimmern, keines davon gleicht dem anderen, jedes ist auf seine Weise besonders.
Der eigene Seezugang mit Boot und Bar sind nur eins der vielen Highlights - wie auch das Frühstück und Dinner, das Kat mit ihrem Mann zusammen für die Gäste zubereitet.
