Mabuhay, FIND, Inc! ☀️ We’re so excited to announce that FIND, Inc. is finally making its comeback as a marching organization in the NYC Philippine Independence Day Parade this year, and we would love to have you there! 🇵🇭 WHEN: Sunday, June 7, 2026, from *10 AM to 2 PM WHERE: *New York, NY (Madison Ave b/w 38th & 27th) WHAT TO WEAR: Your District and/or Club Merch! *Exact meetup time and spot will be shared later. The Philippine Independence Day Parade in New York City is the world’s largest Philippine Independence Day Parade outside of Manila. 2026 marks the 128th Philippine Independence Anniversary Commemoration, and FIND, Inc. is proud to return to the parade this year alongside all of you to celebrate our heritage together. Introducing our next FIND Dialogue 2026 Workshop: TAGALOG WITH LADY AILEEN AMBION ORSAL‼️‼️‼️ “Lady Aileen Ambion Orsal is the first Filipino language preceptor at Harvard University. She also served as a university instructor in the Philippines for about ten years, teaching journalism, communication, and language courses. She has a graduate degree in Philippine Studies and Communication Studies with a certificate in Southeast Asian Studies. She is also a former Fulbright scholar under the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant program and was hosted by Northern Illinois University in 2018. Her current project involves the use of authentic materials in language learning including multicultural stories, films, news reports, and museums as extension of language classrooms. She is currently an active member of the Council of Teachers of Southeast Asian Languages (COTSEAL), the Consortium for the Advancement of Philippine Languages and Cultures (CAPLAC), and the Unified Federation of Fil-Am Educators (UNIFFIED) – Massachusetts Chapter.” As a reminder, this year FIND Dialogue is making a comeback! This workshop will cover core stick and sword techniques of Kali, focusing on how to move fluidly and creatively. This session is designed to provide a clear introduction to the mechanics of FMA.” As a reminder, this year FIND Dialogue is making a comeback! With her backing band, she has performed all across New York and New Jersey, and is so excited to expand this list to Baltimore for FIND’s Dialogue. The Filipino community under FIND has been elemental to the support and love she has received in her artistry, including her latest music video for her release “Petals Fall,” a collaboration with a D3 connection. FIND D7 is partnering with Trisha Rubio, a BSED ENGLISH 2 student of St. Louis University’s STELA, to collect donations for families impacted by the super Typhoon Uwan through their university-wide donation drive under: PROJECT OG-OGFO. Donations will be accepted until Thursday, November 27th. The money will be distributed directly to 1,000 families in Isabela Province through SLU’s KASAMA/SSC in coordination with Angat Tumauini Volunteers. Family names are undisclosed for privacy reasons.
