We headed to Bristol for the sold-out show of Body Snatcher’s headline tour.
While we were there, we caught up with Big Ass Truck and had the chance to chat with Abel and Brett after their set. We spoke about their reaction to the packed-out Bristol show, how they’re finding their time in the UK so far, and even dug into the story behind the name Big Ass Truck — easily one of the most solid band names out there.
Their set was huge, and the energy in the room matched it.
We’re hoping to catch up with them again in Plymouth, maybe kick back and share a few beers.

We’re absolutely stoked to drop this interview for you guys today. It was a pretty surreal moment being able to interview such an insanely talented band, especially in the death metal world.
Devin and Drew were so welcoming, and we genuinely had such a good time chatting and getting to know them a little bit. The show was absolutely insane – for a death metal band to sound as good live as they do on record is a massive accomplishment. And seeing a sold-out show on a Monday in February was pretty wild.

Here’s the second part of our sit-down interview with Combust. We genuinely had such an interesting, in-depth conversation and honestly could’ve spoken with Andrew all night.
The set itself was pretty special for us at Final Charge TV, because we’d never actually seen Combust live before. Hearing tracks like “The Truth Hurts” and “Why I Hate” live was absolutely fucking amazing. It did not disappoint — the energy, how tight the band was, and just how good it sounded overall was unreal.
If you ever get the chance, definitely go and see Combust live. Like we’ve said before, it’s extremely raw — natural, true to itself — pure hardcore sound. And the Belly of the Beast album is 100% one we highly recommend if you’re going down the hardcore route, or if you’re just looking for something heavy and real to throw on.

Been sitting on this video for a while now. As you all know, all good things take time… but here it finally is — our interview with the legend that is Sean from Ingested.
Ingested are one of my favourite death metal bands of all time, and honestly the band that got me into the genre in the first place. So being able to sit down with Sean and have a proper chat was unreal.
We spoke about where the name Ingested comes from — and biased opinion or not, it’s probably one of the best death metal band names out there. We also got into his influences, touring, and loads more that’ll be dropping later this week.
Super proud and excited to finally get this one out. Sean was an absolute gent from start to finish, and their set was completely insane. We were lucky enough to catch them twice on the tour and they absolutely delivered both times.
Go show Sean and the boys in Ingested some love.

Burn It Down Festival just keeps levelling up… and after last year, we already know this one’s gonna go OFF.

Managed to catch Last Wishes at the first show of their tour supporting Madball in Bristol — absolute chaos from start to finish. The energy was unreal.
Got some shots straight after catching up with the boys, and they did not disappoint.
In our opinion, Last Wishes are the best UK hardcore band doing it right now. If you haven’t checked them out yet, now’s the time.
They’re hitting Burn It Down Festival this September in Torquay — stacked lineup, and they somehow make it even better.

Today’s post… this is one we never thought we’d get to make.
We had the absolute honour of sitting down with Freddy from Madball at the first show of their UK run — and honestly, it still doesn’t feel real.
Straight after their set, Freddy gave us some of his time, and that alone was unreal.
This was a full-on bucket list moment.
Not just seeing Madball live… but sitting down with Freddy himself — talking about new music, the history of the band, where the name comes from, and everything they’ve got coming — was just insane.
