On Sunday we had the pleasure of a VIP guest in the team car for the very first time.
@martin_eames of @final_one_ltd joined @sojodrell and @ryanmorleycyclecentre in the car for his first experience of road racing. He got to see first had how we prepare and what actually goes on inside a race. From the managers meeting to how we deal with crashes and feeding, the highs and lows.
Enabling a sponsor to see where their investment goes and take part in a race with the riders they support is invaluable in building long-term relationships. It's fair to say Martin is now fully part of the squad!
Post race Martin was able to chat to the riders about Final 1 and distribute some products to the guys.

@lincolngrandprix is a cruel mistress.
We went with a plan but luck had other ideas.
A crash, the crash, on lap 2 took down a large part of the peleton including @hugh.aubrey & @_alex_murphy__ thankfully neither badly injured but by the time bikes were changed the race was gone on one of the fastest parts of the circuit.
@jbartholomew_1@huw_watkins_ continued to fight for position in the bunch with @mohammad_ganjkhanlou in the 2nd group on the road with @bengoodwin83 not far behind it looked like we could still salvage a good result.
Fate struck again with Mo suffering a puncture with 3 laps to go and with no call on the radio it was race over for Mo too.
Despite no result to speak of the lads did what they could in difficult circumstances, entertained the crowds and we all survived to race another day. In fact 2 days. This weekend we head to France for Classi' Cotenrin. Let's go again!!

What an incredible weekend for our full team. 4 Podiums from 8 Riders from Elite Male to Youth Female at the latest round of the British Downhill Series @anturstiniog promoted by the brilliant team @borderlinemtb . In only a few short years we are now working towards the sharp end at the highest level in the UK of this awesome sport. It would be unfair of me to single out riders as every one of them gave everything and some.
