We can’t start a vehicle without Chief loading up, hoping we’re headed out to hunt..
If I ever can’t find him, he’s likely laying under a vehicle somewhere, just in case the season magically opens again and I come walking out with a shotgun.. we miss it too, bud.

Some people go their whole lives and never see a mountain lion.. 4 at once was pretty neat, but I’m wiser than to not respect the power of mama critters in the woods.
Luckily our passing aligned with the timeline required to pair me with this handsome bird later that day..
