Within the Renaissance cloister is #Fronda , the new sunshade designed by @967arch for Fim: a lightweight, easy-to-handle individual light screen integrating a magnetic lamp for evening use. A hybrid object, poised between technical device and atmospheric presence.

Sala degli Archi is where #FimUmbrellas showcases its production chain. Founded in Novara more than 50 years ago as the evolution of an artisanal umbrella workshop, Fim still retains a strong manual component within its production process.
Here, the site-specific works by artist @ermanno.brosio , created using Fim’s fabric scraps, transform production waste into a sculptural statement.

The new #FeelGood parasols designed by @parisottoformenton for Fim integrate an upholstered pouf at their base, expanding the product’s function and transforming it into a micro urban architecture.
This represents the evolution of the archetypal parasol, which, in keeping with the company philosophy, shifts from being a protective element to becoming a configurator of space.

In the entrance area of the Biblioteca, the #SummerSign umbrellas are on display: a reinterpretation of the #Plant model from the #Ambience collection by @967arch , who reworked textures and colors, introducing a graphic pattern on the underside of the canopy.

At the core of the installation is the Sala degli Archi, where #Fim turns production into a design statement. Making becomes visible: fabrics are sewn live, components assembled, and metal structures reveal the industrial backbone of each umbrella.
Showing the process means highlighting the cultural value of manufacturing, when supply chain transparency has become an integral part of the project itself.

With #LaFabbricaDellOmbra, designed by @967arch , Fim brings its identity, and its way of thinking about outdoor design, to the forefront.
The installation weaves together product, process, and production culture, revealing what defines the brand: a balance between industrial scale and craftsmanship. A dialogue between technology and manual work, precision and material sensitivity, a vision deeply rooted in the culture of Made in Italy.
