19th June...all roads lead to @sunrooms2 in Southend-on-Sea! Cannot wait to be back in Essex performing alongside @tony.reading.50 , Ed Friendly and The Funny Skin crew. Thank you to @eddiebammeke for organising this one. Eddie is one of the nicest blokes out there and I first met him when he was living in Stoke 4 years ago. His enthusiasm and energy is second to none. Eddie then went and put me on in Westcliffe last year at the @friendfarmanimalsanctuary rave where I first met this lovely lot. Not only did I live in Westcliffe in the mid 90s when I was working in Canvey Island but I then moved to Southend and had some fun times at Funny Skin (watching Gina G in the bar area the night of the eurovision song contest I recall!) Club Art was also great. I even did a DJ set at The Sunrooms bitd. What was the name of the record shop that was opposite Napier Avenue? There was also the shop near London Rd -was it run by Funny Skin peeps? Remember it was good for trance and acid techno. Getting misty eyed so cannot wait for this one....and it's another charity event!
