Jazlin, Stephen and Byron getting hands-on experience dismounting and transporting the camera, head, and legs. We take them through each piece of equipment and break it down into small steps first. This drill teaches how the equipment fits together, the order in which we do it and emphasises teamwork between students.
On set, the camera will generally be handled by 1st ACs, 2nd ACs and Dolly Grips. However itâs important for Camera Trainees to understand the equipment and overall process. Understanding your bossâ job will make you do your job better.
