Film Spells is back at nina tomorrow night for Candlelit Conjure—a coworking night for cinépsychics. If you like your accountability with a side of good witchery, this workshop is for you. Bring a laptop (or pen and paper) and an image or object to represent the project you’re conjuring. Space is very limited and only a few spots remain. We’re so excited to have @arianne.ayu back at nina to kick off our facilitated coworking programming! On April 29 and May 4 from 6-9pm, join @filmspells for a night of reigniting your creative projects in supportive, intuitive community. Writing a script? Editing a short? Applying for a grant? Pulling tarot to see what your character should do next? We’re here for it. We’ll begin our circle with a brief project share and channel our desires into a clear intention. Then, we’ll have spacious time to breathe new life into our stories before closing the day’s ceremony. 30 minutes to ground 2 hours to write/edit/work 30 minutes to celebrate what we’ve conjured✨ Please bring something to write with (analog or laptop), and (optional) an image or object to represent your project. If you’re editing, drawing, or tending to your visions in another way, please bring those materials too! This will be a mostly quiet/focused work session with time to share in the beginning and end. You'll be called to surrender to the Dear Abyss in real time through breath, memory, gesture, and written offering. Your seat will hold simple spell ingredients to be activated throughout the screening. As we move through the film, you'll be guided to breathe, invoke, and remember — tracing our own passages of release and renewal, holding those we've lost and all we wish to cultivate. The ceremony will end with a cathartic procession from theater to courtyard, closing our circle under the night sky. By welcoming Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius, we’ll explore your dormant work and play with multiple channeling methods to enliven it, celebrate its lessons, and make room for possibilities.
