Some years ago, my good friend Sebastian drove five hours to a state park with his now-wife to bury their recently deceased dog, Ace. When he told me that story, I knew it should be put on the screen. Some time shortly after that, @jessevisual had access to a cool camera and I had a very rough outline - and no shot list. We brought on @s_p_whipple to act and a few friends to help. Despite the unfinished nature of the project, we spent a day filming our first short together.
It became White Rice & Peanut Butter.
Tonight we got to show it to a group of folks for the first time at none other than the legendary @musicboxchicago . It was a private screening, but we hope to share this short with everyone soon.

The wedding documentary films I have had the privilege to make at @sweetesteloise have been a rewarding experience. Even more so, I had the opportunity to host @kristinclaughlin and her husband Connor at @livebian to show them their Vatican City & Rome festivities. It was important for me how the couple consumed the work I made for them and moment lived up to every expectation.
