Scoop there it is!
Fill x Müll Club. Together through refill. We go way back. We’ve wanted to make something with Charlie at Müll for the longest time. And so, finally, we did.
The 100% recycled powder scoop. Custom moulded. Made in Margate from spreadable butter packs, cream cheese tubs, ice cream containers & old DVD cases that would otherwise have been thrown away. Collected from households across the UK.
Black & grey marbled swirl. Embossed Fill x Müll. No two scoops the same. All of them cool. Designed to carry 20g powder. Be measured. Use only the powder you need.
Single use is over!
Today and tomorrow at the top up pop up on Dirty Lane…
Find some other one-of-a-kind objects made by Müll Club, including the new collection; Homewares Made of Money, from recycled polymer bank notes that have reached end of use life in circulation.
Stop by to find the first drop of the new Fill x Müll 100% recycled powder scoop. Made in Margate from spreadable butter packs, cream cheese tubs, ice cream containers & old DVD cases that would otherwise have been thrown away.
Pop in. Say hello. Get the scoop.
TOP UP POP UP MEET UP. THURSDAY 14TH MAY.
We’re having a party for Fill seekers, stockists, pals and partners. Pop in. Bring a bottle.
An unwrapped wrap up party. All welcome!
The Fill Refill top up pop up shop comes to a close on May 17 but it’s not the end of the road. We’ve spent this time helping folks find their nearest local refill store. Everyone who stops by at the pop up can take away a card with a QR code that leads them to the stockist map.
In case you were wondering, popping up in a shop doesn’t mean we’re about to open a load of refill stores of our own. We’re not! It’s just that this pop up was too good a chance to turn down.
It’s not the end. No way! So, join us on Refill Road. We gotta go and never stop going 'til we get there. Keep on filling with the wide-eyed rebel-retail refill stores who burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles! Refill at home. Refill for cafés. Refill for restaurants. Refill for fill seeking festivals and campsites. Any place where people gather and share.
There is nowhere to go but everywhere, keep rolling and refilling under the stars.
See you there!
FILL CLEAN REPEAT
We didn’t get more than a few days to think it over. To pull things together. To bring things down to town. To set up a Top up Pop up shop. Nor did we have any kind of funds set aside to make it happen. We did it anyway. And I am so happy we did. And so proud of the whole Fill team. We used what we’ve got, plus a whole lot of imagination, to make something as good as we possibly could.
Posters risograph printed in record time. Bottles filled and crated. Powder packed into jars. Drums cleaned, stencilled & rolled into place. Folks came down to help put stuff up. We filled the in-house shop rota in record time; including lab crew, my nephew and a daschund puppy. Eleonora, our head of creative, brilliantly masterminded every last detail. Cool as a cucumber.
We wanted this temporary space to be more than a regular fill refill retail space. We choose to use the language and tools of protest because we don’t think single use is very cool. We do like risograph posters. They are simple, don’t cost much, they’re characterful & they make an impact. Refill is the same. The repetition all up the wall is meant to reinforce the idea of refill, reuse & repeat visits to a local store.
We chose FoundPop because we love the idea that these shelves will be showcasing something else, somewhere else next month. They are built to last, built to do what you need and like all the best design, you don’t so much as notice them in the background. Good design, great functionality, quality and a clear commitment to reuse over and over and over. We’ve enjoyed filling the FoundPop shelves. We’ll keep them clean and they can go back to work all over again for someone else. Fill clean repeat.
