Senza ossigeno. Senza perdere coscienza. Proprio questo mi ha fatto più paura: non averne. Guardarti dritto in faccia. Affrontarti. Sopravviverti. Anche in nome di chi, prima di me, non hai risparmiato. Una nemesi. Personale. E così a Palermo è andato in scena DDD, senza di me. Era tutto pronto. E lo è stato. L’ho guardato da fuori, e l’ho lasciato andare. Detachment. Come un padre che vede il figlio camminare da solo. Ma solo non lo è mai stato. Tutti hanno dato tutto. Di più. Anche l’anima. Anche per me. Persone. Non “solo” professionisti. Hanno trasferito l’essenza. L’energia. La magia. Non a caso, qualcuno ci chiama “famiglia”. Non community. Non ho imparato niente. Sapevo già tutto. Nessuna morale. Nulla da insegnare. Sappiamo già. Tutti. Chi vuole capire, capirà. Da solo. L’ho sempre detto. E lo confermo. Sarei potuto uscire di scena anche ora. Senza troppi rimpianti. Sereno. Fiero del mio bimbo. Ricco, di vita vissuta. Non era il mio momento. Semplice. Nemmeno lei mi ha rivoluto vicino. Non ancora. Perché sa che ho ancora qualcosa da fare. Molto più di qualcosa: il tempo. È il primo giorno di una nuova vita. In omaggio. Un dono. Quello che non uccide ti fortifica. Ci vediamo in giro.
