Honored to feature artwork & Passover reflection by artist Alisa Rodny. The Ten Plagues of Egypt Exodus 7:14 - 11:10 What is the correct way to begin to understand the lessons of the Bible? Hashem punishes the Egyptians with the plagues but he also hardens the Pharaoh’s heart so that he doesn’t let the Jews leave Egypt. My painting is the vision of the plagues through the eyes of a child; the plagues are finger puppets on the hands of God. The path forward is the same for us today as it was for Jews leaving slavery with Moses. We ask the same questions, struggle with the same dilemmas, fail at the same challenges and contradictions.
