Over the past FOUR seasons of Vegas’ Next Headliner Comedy Competition, I have helped provide over 💰 $3600 in cash prizes, countless paid opportunities, future bookings, and actual exposure for local comedians trying to grow in this industry. I have been rejected, dismissed, underestimated, and overlooked because of my gender, my career, and my refusal to kiss the asses of mediocre men who hold stage time over people’s heads like it’s a crown. I refuse to shrink myself to make insecure people comfortable. I refuse to play politics just to be accepted into rooms that lack integrity, diversity, and originality. And I refuse to stay silent while watching the same recycled “Joe Blow & Friends” comedy lineups hand out FREE 🆓 tickets every night on the Las Vegas Strip because they can’t build a real audience organically.
