I’m coming out of my posting hiatus to create a special tribute to one of my dearest and bestest friends in the whole wide world. Kalem, going through our montage of memories over the years made me emotional in all the best ways possible. The amount of laughter, tears, wisdom, adventures and flowing together fuels me and I can relive all of these memories in my mind with every detail, it’s almost like I’m there. From hiking, to cold plunging, to rock climbing, pole dancing, acro balancing, to waterfalls, to long conversations over a fire and the sound of coyotes howling under a full moon. You’ve given me so much to ponder, to reflect and look inward on. You remind me, constantly, just how vital and important toughing through obstacles and navigating a broken heart with grace, unbiasedness and softness is. To feel and experience immense anger and frustration and transmute that into better ways to become a more accepting, grounded and loving hooman. You remind me that there are angels walking amongst us in total secret and you are one of them. To say you are loved is just a total understatement. You bring so much light, talent and brilliance to this world just by existing and being so authentically yourself. I and so many of us are so blessed to spend another year celebrating you. Happy Birthday 🖤
