2 years together
I think all the time about how different my life is since I met you. You bring so much joy into my life every day. You’re always encouraging and inspiring with my goals and aspirations. You always motivate me to the point where I can face insecurities and make it possible to see myself differently. Being with you has consistently grown me into becoming a better person than I thought I could be. All the adventures we’ve gone on together and somehow it feels like barely any time has passed. Loving you has been one of the best experiences of my entire life.

Eve - Anoko Secret
Hey guys I’ve finally returned to making covers! Most of you won’t know this song cause it’s in Japanese but the bassline is great so I had to learn it. Probably one of the harder songs I know right now.
Incubus - Dig
Happy Easter everyone! Yes, I know what you're thinking. Incubus is the band I've done the most covers of by now (I'm sure none of you were thinking that at all). That's because they're just one of my favorites and a lot of their bass stuff plays a heavy inspiration in my play style. I never really paid much attention to this album until recently, but this song has a great message to it and the bassline goes hard! It's a shame not as many people know about it
Incubus - Battlestar Scralatchtica
This is one of my favorite songs from this album because the first time I heard it it was just a break from really heavy stuff and went straight into one of the funkiest instrumentals I have ever heard. The first time I heard it I knew it was a song I’d have to eventually get good enough to learn. So here I am now LOL
Maneater - Daryl Hall & John Oates
Pretty simple bassline but it's still really fun to play and kind of a core part of this song. An oldie but a goodie.
Alice In Chains - I Know Somethin (Bout You)
This is by far one of my more favorite songs by AIC and a lot of people haven't heard it as much as all of their hits. It's got such a good main riff to it and all of the little fills I get to play in between sections adds extra flavor to it.
Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl
This song was fun to cover cause even though this song was made in the early 2000's it sounds so much like it's from a classic 70's rock record with that slight hint of blues in it too. Basslines like that are super fun to learn and play!
Incubus - Are You In?
Another cover for one of my favorite bands. This song just has a great atmosphere in a lot of different places and is absolutely fun to play on bass. I'm a sucker for chill funk like this.
TOOL - Stinkfist
I have finally returned to uploading covers! I've learned a lot of songs and played a lot of music since the last cover I've uploaded, so I should have more to record for covering in the future. This is the first TOOL song I've learned to play in its entirety and it's a very fun one. Hope y'all enjoy!
-Time really flies-
Graduation has been a big thing that has been made the center of attention for so long that seeing it coming closer and closer has made me focus in on so many different aspects and I still need time to process it all. I've made so many great memories with my friends, family, and acquaintances that I've met along the way. This journey wouldn't have been nearly as great or possible if it wasn't for the overwhelming support and friendships given to me by every single one of you, so just know for all of you and I am forever in thanks. For those of you I am leaving behind at school I promise I will visit you as much as possible. For those of you that are moving on to somewhere new, I thank you for all of the great memories and would always love to keep in touch. I am always here for anyone who wants to talk.
All sentimental paragraphs aside, I will always remember all the good people and moments from these four years. I thank you one last time for being involved in my life and investing in me. As I go on to the next chapter of mine, I will remember to put all of you in my thoughts. Take care :)
Last night I went to the choir banquet and got to hang out with a lot of my friends. I'm so proud of everyone that I've met and the relationships I've made in this community that I'm sad that I have to leave it. So many of you have so much potential and I believe so many of you will do great things. I will miss seeing you all every day in choir. Thank you for the great memories and for making this year good. :)
