Unexpected plot twist: HARVEST / NEHEMIAH mini-tour 2026. We’re teaming up on our way out to @hellfestdotcom to make some heads roll along the way. This is another surreal occurrence. Between 1996 and 1999, I could have been referred to as the epitome of “a nü-metal teen”, but in 1999 I was first exposed to a slew of bands that were unlike else I’d ever heard before…those were primarily Zao, Poison The Well, and @harvest.hc - these bands opened my eyes to hardcore, metalcore, and the entire underground scene that went with it. Carved out a whole new path. Out of the three, the recently split-up Harvest was every Midwest band’s blueprint to work from. There was only one pre-Nehemiah show where we only played covers, and Harvest’s “Epicure” was part of our set. Boston’s #InnumerableForms is one of my favorite modern metal bands I’ve been turned onto in the last decade. The most immaculate blend of death and doom. To me, it’s got the brutality and groove of Decapitated’s THE NEGATION with moments of Skepticism and/or Pallbearer-like harmonic gloom. And I’m an even bigger fan after seeing them live at @moroccanlounge tonight. Such precision & so heavy. Fantastic band!
